User Agreement

What Mosaica does

Mosaica turns a photo you supply into artwork in four styles — Mosaic, Stained glass, Pointillism and Pixel. You can render looks on the device or, if you allow it, let an AI service suggest settings for each look. You review every draft and decide what to keep, export or share.

It does not offer accounts, cloud galleries, printing, a marketplace, or paid features, and it does not guarantee any particular artistic result.

Photos you use

Only use photos you took or have the right to use. You are responsible for respecting the privacy and rights of people and property shown in them, especially when you choose to send a photo to the AI service or share an artwork. Do not use Mosaica to create unlawful, harassing or infringing images.

Your artwork

Artworks you create from your own photos are yours to use, subject to any rights others hold in the original photo. They are stored on your device; deleting the app or clearing local data removes them, so export anything you want to keep.

Optional AI

AI features run only after you allow them. The selected photo and your notes are then processed by DeepSeek as described in the Mosaica Privacy Policy and subject to DeepSeek's own terms. AI suggestions may not match your intent and the service may be unavailable because of connectivity or service limits. On-device rendering works without it, and we may change or remove AI features.

Acceptable use

Use Mosaica for personal creative purposes in line with this agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms. Do not misuse the app or the AI service, attempt to extract the app's service credential, or interfere with its operation.

Purchases

Mosaica has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Apple

This agreement is between you and the provider of Mosaica, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it.

Changes to the app

We may update, change or stop offering Mosaica or any feature, including styles and AI options.

Intellectual property

Mosaica's software, styles, sample picture and design are licensed to you for personal use, not sold.

Disclaimers and liability

Mosaica is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of local artwork or consequences of sharing images you created. Nothing in this agreement limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Ending use

You may stop using Mosaica at any time by deleting it. We may end access for serious breaches. The sections on photos you use, your artwork, intellectual property and disclaimers continue to apply.

Updates

We may revise this agreement as Mosaica changes; the effective date shows the current version. Continued use means you accept the update.
